What is dichroic glass?
Dichroic glass comes from the Greek word di-krhoos meaning two colors and in art glass it refers to the way each piece of dichroic glass reflects two or more colors. Depending on the angle from which it is viewed, pieces containing dichroic glass will flash and glow in the sunlight and any other light source exhibiting deep, intense colors that shift when viewed from different angles. The wine stoppers are created with a glass fusing process at 1500 degrees in firebrick kilns and are hand designed, shaped and cut by skilled glass artisans.
